Day 1 Arrival in Tel Aviv, Israel
- Transfer to your Tel Aviv hotel

Day 2 Old Jaffa and Modern Tel Aviv
- First stop is lovely Old Jaffa, wandering around the winding alleyways -
- the Jaffa Port and exploring the 7,000 years of history on the Hill of Jaffa.
- We will continue our walking tour in the colorful American colony, and charming Neve Tzedek, the first neighborhood built on the empty sand dunes outside of Jaffa in the 1880's.
- After visiting Independence Hall where the State of Israel was proclaimed in 1948, we'll continue to the heart of Tel Aviv and walk along leafy Rothschild Boulevard -
enjoying the view of the world's largest collection of the white and airy Bauhaus Architecture in Tel Aviv's White City, proclaimed a World Heritage site.

Day 3 Haifa and Akko along the Northern Coastline
- We will discover the Baha'i Gardens in Haifa, an hour's drive north of Tel Aviv.
- The exquisitely landscaped terraces extending along the mountain slope are considered a monumental work of art and are recognized as a World Heritage Site.
- Next step is the magnificent sea view from Stella Maris (Star of the Sea) Carmelite Monastery. In the Baroque-style church is a cave where according to tradition, the Prophet Elijah hid from the wrath of the idol worshipers.
- Continuing north to the once Crusader capital of Akko (Acre) -
- We will visit the Hospitaliers’ Order Citadel, and walk through the Secret Tunnel built by the Templar Knights.
- We will see the Roman amphitheater (Israel's top concert venue today), the remains of the Roman aqueduct in the active Caesarea beach, and other amazing remnants from Roman, Crusader and Byzantine periods.

Day 4 the Galilee and Sea of Galilee
in the Green Heart of Israel
- In the north of Israel, the beautiful Galilee mountains and the Sea of Galilee make up the green heart of Israel.
- We'll start off the beaten path in Zipori, the capital of the Galilee 2,000 years ago.
- You can walk down the renovated Roman streets, visit the nobility's villas and see the amazing, perserved mosaics.
- We will continue to the picturesque city of Safed - Tzfat, the center of Kabbalah studies and center of Jewish mysticism. The city is a curious mix of ancient synagogues, a vibrant Artist's Colony and ancient cemeteries where some of the most famous kabbalist rabbis are buried.
- Another fascinating town is Capernaum, on the Sea of Galilee (Kinneret). We will visit the artifacts of the thriving Jewish and Christian communities that lived side by side thousands of years ago.
- Scenic Drive back to Tel Aviv

Day 5 Caesarea and Zichron Yaacov
- We'll start our day in Caesarea, the main port city of Israel 2,000 years ago.
- We'll walk along King Herod's ancient port, bathhouses, villas, temples and palace remains, see the ancient Roman aqueduct and the stunning Roman theater where to this day, Israel's pop stars perform every summer.
- Next stop is charming Zichron Yaakov, one of the first Jewish settlements. Many of the original, tiled roof homes and courtyards are intact or have been restored.
- Just near Zichron Yaakov is the beautiful Park Ramat Hanadiv where the Baron Edmond de Rothschild and his wife are buried. Their philanthropic activities enabled Zichron Yaacov to survive and flourish after enduring many early hardships including malaria, poor farmland and dire proverty.
- Your last stop will be Park Utopia a lush tropical rainforest park with more than 20,000 orchids, waterfalls and fountains, a butterfly garden and an animal park.

Day 6 Journey back into Time in Jezreel Valley
- We will start the day in Megiddo, the jewel in the crown of the world of biblical archaeology. We will stroll around King Solomon's Citadel, Gates, the altar and the impressive ancient water supply system.
- At the Beit Shean National Park, we'll discover the amazing archaeological remains including an Egyptian city and the ongoing excavations of Scythopolis, the Roman-Byzantine city.
- Driving along the scenic Gilboa Mountain range with Bible in hand, we'll witness the Biblical stories of David and Saul unfolding before our eyes.
- We'll continue to Beit Alfa National Park with one of the most beautiful synagogue mosaic floors in Israel, dating from the early sixth century CE.
- Last stop of the day is an overview of Jerusalem from atop Mt. Scopus (Har HaTzofim)

Day 7 Descend into History in Jerusalem
- We'll stroll along the Ramparts of the Old City Walls, enjoying the breathtaking Jerusalem views.
- Our walking continue will continue along the Cardo, the main street of Jerusalem in the 6th century, the Broad Wall from King Hezekiah First Temple period and Hurva Square, the central square of the Jewish Quarter.
- We'll stop at the Western Wall, Judaism's most sacred site and visit the Southern Wall excavations and the Southern Steps where Jewish pilgrims entered the Temple Mount.
- We'll walk along the Jerusalem Old City Shuk (open-air market) and lunch at one of the local Arab restaurants.
- Last stop is quaint Mishkanei Sha’ananim, the first Jewish Quarter built in the mid-19th Century outside the Old City walls.
- Seventh night in Jerusalem

Day 8 the Modern Face of Jerusalem
- We'll start our day with a guided tour of the Knesset, Israel's Parliament, which is also home to wonderful Chagall works of art.
- Walking along the colorful Jerusalem streets of Jaffa, Nachalat Hamisha and Prophets, continuing to Machaneh Yehudah open-air market. It's a feast of sights, smells, tastes and sounds. We'll stop for lunch at one of the local market eateries.
- Last stop in the Jerusalem forest is Yad Vashem, the Jewish people’s moving memorial to the Holocaust. The museum leads the visitor one room to the next, from the lives of Europe's Jews before, to the approaching doom, the Nazi atrocities, chronicles of resistance, and finally and literally, to the light at the end of the tunnel, a beautiful view of modern Jerusalem.

Day 9 Into the Desert... Masada and the Dead Sea
- We'll drive down into the beautiful, stark Judean desert and the Dead Sea.
- First stop are the Qumran caves where the famous Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered, and the nearby Dead Sea sect excavations.
- From there, we'll ascend to the desert fortress Masada by cable car -
- We'll explore the site of the last stand of the Jewish zealots against the Romans. Masada has become a symbol of Jewish resistance and the founding of the State of Israel.
- For the tour finale, we'll float in the Dead Sea -
the lowest point on earth. We''ll wrap up the tour enjoying a buffet lunch and the spa facilities of the Dead Sea Hotel.
